AltaLink’s Parent Company Being Sued Again

Quebec-based SNC-Lavalin, AltaLink’s parent company, is facing another embarrassment. CJAD 800 reports, “It is being sued in Tunisia by a subcontractor of demanding a bribe in exchange for work on a power station. La Presse says the subcontractor has told authorities he was asked for $120,000. When he refused to pay, the work went to another firm.”

There appears to be no end to legal and financial problems for the embattled engineering giant. For more on SNC-Lavalin and AltaLink, see this link.
